IOF Opens Fire at Rubble and Scrap Collectors Northwest of Beit Lahiya; One Person Injured

At approximately 9:55 am on Monday 21 January 2013, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire at a number of Palestinian young men who were collecting rubble and scrap who in the Eli Sinai evacuated settlement northwest of Beit Lahiya. As a result, Abdullah Mohammed Ma’rouf, 18, sustained a bullet wound in the right leg that caused a fracture. Medical sources at Kamal Odwan described his injury as moderate.
