At approximately 15:30, IOF troops positioned at the border between the Gaza Strip and Israel to the east of Gaza Valley village in the central Gaza Strip and helicopter gunships opened fire at Palestinian areas located to the west of the border following an armed clash with Palestinian resistance activists. As a result, Sabri Hani al-'Owaidat, 12, was wounded by a gunshot to the head when he was near his family's house nearly 1,500 meters away from the border.
