Gaza, April 30, 2009 (Ramattan) – Israeli warplanes struck on Thursday an agriculture field in the eastern Gaza Strip without causing injuries or damages, Palestinian security and medical sources said. The sources added that the Israeli jets launched at least one air strike on an agriculture field near Al-Shojaeya neighborhood while a number of Palestinian farmers were planting.
Earlier on Thursday, Israeli gunboats opened heavy fire at the northern coast of Gaza Strip, targeting a number of Palestinian fishermen, no injuries or damages were reported.
