GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- A
young Palestinian was injured by Israeli forces on Friday morning east
of Jabaliya refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, medics said.
Ministry of Health spokesman Ashraf al-Qidra told Ma’an that a 21-year-old man was shot by Israeli forces located east of the camp.
He was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries, al-Qidra added.
An Israeli army spokesman said that initial checks indicated that forces near the border fired "riot-dispersal means" when a Palestinian man approached a security fence.
