GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces shot and injured a Palestinian man on Tuesday in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, medical officials reported.
Ashraf al-Qidra, a spokesman for the Gaza health ministry, said that the 23-year-old man, identified only as M.Q., was shot in the right foot near the border.
He was taken to Gaza's European Hospital for treatment.
An Israeli army spokeswoman said forces had no record of the incident.

KHAN YOUNIS, (PIC)-- A Palestinian young man was injured when Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired at an area east of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, on Tuesday night. Eyewitnesses said that IOF soldiers opened their machineguns at farmers in Fakhari area wounding one of them who was carried to Gaza European hospital south of Khan Younis. Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra, the health ministry spokesman, told the PIC that a 23-year-old young man was hit with a bullet in his right foot, describing his condition as moderate. |
